Funboards are just that; a whole lot of fun! It has nothing to do will skill, because as many expert surfers with decades of experience ride funboards, as do surfers just getting into the sport and are looking to progress.

No matter how good you are, sometimes the conditions simply don’t lend themselves to shortboarding. When this happens, the best thing you can do is grab your seventies, or funboard, and go out and play in the waves with your friends.
