Wave Rider

The Wave Rider is our most obvious SUP shape. What we mean by that is its the SUP in our line-up thats most in line with the current trend in thinking when it comes to SUP design.

The outline, rocker, rail shape and bottom concave all resemble closely a scaled up longboard. This makes for a predictable, easy and stable ride, whether paddling out, or surfing in. It is the SUP that most surfers would choose as their first SUP because of this.

But this is not to say that the Wave Rider does not have our personal touch! Fine tuning the shape was a long (and fun) process. Getting the rocker to work perfectly with the outline so it’s fun to surf, while creating a board thats stable, predictable and easy for the paddle out was not easy. In many ways these are conflicting demands on a board shape. It was a real challenge to create a SUP that makes learning easy at the same time as surfing fun.
